Sr. Director, FP&A

About the role

NETGEAR is seeking a strategic, highly analytical, and forward-thinking Senior Director of FP&A to serve as the right-hand partner to the Vice President of FP&A. This role owns the consolidation of the company’s P&L and drives core financial processes, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), in-quarter forecasting, and actuals reporting.

The role will modernize the finance function by evolving FP&A into a forward-looking decision-support organization. It will also own the FP&A technology roadmap, create automated executive decision products, apply AI to transform workflows, develop a modern, highly capable FP&A team, and influence strategic decision-making across the business.

Responsibilities

• Evolve FP&A into a forward-looking decision-support function by integrating financial, operational, commercial, customer, and market signals into enterprise planning and performance management.
• Create executive decision products, including rolling forecasts, business momentum indicators, exception-based reporting, prioritized action queues, and automated performance narratives.
• Manage comprehensive corporate P&L consolidation, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Support quarterly earnings preparation and create Board of Directors presentations with accurate data, financial narratives, and strategic insights.
• Drive the Annual Operating Plan, in-quarter forecasting, and actuals reporting.
• Own the FP&A technology roadmap and apply AI to transform workflows.
• Develop a modern, highly capable FP&A team and influence strategic decision-making across the business.
