Job description
Tasks
- Prepare and review state and local tax returns
- Research complex SALT issues and provide practical solutions to clients
- Assist with tax planning and consulting engagements
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Mentor and support junior staff members
- Stay current on changing state and local tax regulations
Requirements
- CPA preferred (or actively pursuing)
- Public accounting experience with SALT exposure
- Strong tax research and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
