Job description
About the role
Our client, a global aerospace manufacturer, is looking for a Strategic Buyer to handle complex and custom procurement for its Irvine plant.
Requirements
- 2+ years of procurement or supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment (must have)
- Complex/custom buying: POs, forecasts, supplier capacity commits
- Part obsolescence, supplier transitions and supplier compliance
- Working with engineering on part specs
- MRP/ERP experience preferred
- Aerospace, automotive, or electronic/mechanical parts procurement preferred
- Bachelor’s degree (business, engineering or supply chain preferred)
- Must live within 50 miles of Irvine, CA. No relocation.
