Tableau Cloud Migration Consultant

About the role

Lead an enterprise migration from Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud for a leading healthcare client.

Tasks

• Assess current environment and develop migration strategy & roadmap
• Lead migration of dashboards, workbooks, data sources, permissions & users
• Coordinate testing, validation, UAT, cutover, and post-go-live support
• Configure and validate security, authentication, and SSO integrations
• Develop governance standards, operational procedures & knowledge transfer
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders for successful delivery

Requirements

• Multiple end-to-end Tableau Server to Tableau Cloud migrations
• Strong Tableau Server & Tableau Cloud administration experience
• Experience with Tableau Migration SDK and migration automation tools
• Deep expertise in security, governance, permissions, projects, groups & schedules
• Experience with SSO, SAML, and Azure AD/Entra ID integrations
• Strong SQL and data analysis background
• Experience creating migration runbooks, cutover plans & rollback strategies
• Ability to lead enterprise migration projects and communicate with executives
• Healthcare provider or hospital experience
• Experience supporting Epic or other healthcare analytics environments
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, or cloud platforms
• Tableau certifications preferred
• Experience establishing Tableau Cloud governance and operational support models
• US Citizens (USC) only
• Local Seattle candidates only
