Job description
CazVid Testing is hiring a full-time Web Service QA Tester in Leeuwarden, Friesland, The Netherlands. In this on-site role, you will help ensure a web service hosted on Render meets high standards for functionality, performance, reliability, and user experience. You will collaborate with QA engineers, developers, and product managers in an innovative, cross-functional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans and test cases for web service functionality and performance.
- Create and maintain automated testing scripts to improve testing efficiency and reliability.
- Perform API testing and validate service behavior and data integrations.
- Document defects clearly, work with developers to reproduce issues, and help verify fixes.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute testing insights to discussions and user stories.
- Conduct performance testing to assess responsiveness, stability, and scalability.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support smooth web service integration and deployment.
Required and Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or software testing.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, automation, debugging, and test documentation.
- Experience using SQL to validate databases and verify data integrity.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills for test automation.
- Experience working in Agile teams and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
