Job description
Techling is hiring a full-time UI/UX Designer in Isla Vista, California. In this collaborative, on-site role, you will design intuitive, engaging digital experiences and help shape the user experience across the company’s products.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with product managers and developers to understand user needs and turn them into practical design solutions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that clearly communicate user journeys.
- Conduct user research and usability testing, then refine designs using feedback and observed user behavior.
- Maintain consistent design standards and visual quality across platforms and design assets.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor experiences to inform thoughtful design ideas.
- Work with marketing and cross-functional teams to align designs with brand and business objectives.
- Help develop design guidelines and best practices that support a user-centered approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in UI/UX design or a related role.
- Proficiency with prototyping tools such as Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
- Experience with A/B testing and user research methods.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant projects and design expertise.
- UX design certifications are a plus.
