About the role
Adsusman is hiring for Unit Support / Housekeeping (Environmental Services). The role includes cleaning patient rooms and preparing discharge rooms for new patients.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect patient rooms.
- Clean discharge rooms and prepare them for new patients.
- Sweep, mop, dust, and remove trash and debris.
- Respond to spills and cleanup requests.
- Safely use cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Follow infection-control and safety procedures.
- Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or 1 year of relevant experience.
- Housekeeping, hospital, hospitality, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Dependable and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow instructions and work in a healthcare environment.
- Clear background check.
- Proof of Varicella, Tdap, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Flu vaccination or immunity.
- Tuberculosis (TB) screening and a physical exam that must be passed.
- Must pass a urine drug screen.
