Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of waste disposal areas ensuring safety and environmental compliance.
• Sort and segregate waste materials to enhance recycling efforts.
• Operate waste collection equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of waste storage areas.
• Support community awareness initiatives on waste management best practices.
• Collaborate with team members to develop waste reduction and recycling improvement strategies.
• Report safety hazards, irregularities, or maintenance needs promptly to management.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in waste management or related fields preferred.
• Strong knowledge of safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with waste management software and equipment is a plus.
• Flexibility to work varied hours and adapt to operational changes.

Work collaboratively with waste management personnel, administrative staff, and external partners under the supervision of the Waste Management Supervisor. This role is essential in fostering a cleaner, healthier future for Dhaka and its community.
