Wi-Fi Operations Engineer

Tasks

• Monitor global Wi-Fi infrastructure (APs, controllers, RADIUS, DHCP, DNS) 24x7 to ensure high availability and optimal performance.
• Triage, diagnose, and resolve wireless incidents and service requests within SLAs while maintaining ITIL-aligned processes.
• Analyze trends, perform RF tuning (channel/power adjustments, band steering), and support firmware upgrades.
• Participate in structured shift handovers and maintain crisp operational runbooks as part of our 24x7 coverage model.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise Wi-Fi in an operations or NOC environment.
• Solid understanding of 802.11 standards (Wi-Fi 5/6/6E) and RF fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major wireless platform (Cisco, Aruba, Juniper Mist, Ruckus, etc.).
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, 802.1X/RADIUS, WPA2/WPA3, and ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
• Vendor certifications (CWNA, CCNA/CCNP, ACMA/ACMP) or ITIL Foundation are a big plus!
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts as part of our global model.
