AccountantPosition SummaryComm’In, a dynamic company in the advertising, marketing, and professional services industry, is seeking an experienced, highly organized, and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. This is a 100% on-site position.The ideal candidate will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, journal entries, financial recordkeeping, and month-end accounting activities. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, accuracy, professionalism, and the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and post month-end journal entries and maintain accurate accounting records.Support month-end closing activities and ensure transactions are properly recorded within established deadlines.Maintain the general ledger and review account activity for accuracy and completeness.Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger account reconciliations.Identify, research, and resolve accounting discrepancies.Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment application, aging analysis, collections, and follow-up.Prepare, process, and send invoices to clients accurately and timely.Record cash receipts and maintain appropriate supporting documentation.Review and process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding, approvals, and allocation.Process and maintain purchase orders (POs), as applicable.Maintain accurate vendor and supplier records.Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation in physical and electronic formats.Assist in the preparation of financial reports, account analyses, and supporting schedules.Analyze financial information and provide supporting documentation and explanations as requested by management.Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and gathering required information and documentation.Coordinate accounting-related matters with clients, vendors, and internal departments.Monitor outstanding accounting matters and provide timely follow-up through resolution.Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as requested.Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.Perform other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.ExperienceMinimum of five (5) years of relevant accounting experience required.Demonstrated experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial recordkeeping.Experience with month-end closing processes, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.Experience working with accounting software and financial systems.Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.Strong
