Automation Lead DeltaV

Role: Automation Lead – DeltaV Location: Puerto Rico | Onsite
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Automation Lead with strong Emerson DeltaV expertise to support a long-term pharmaceutical manufacturing project in Puerto Rico. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across DeltaV automation, batch control, system integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead DeltaV automation activities for pharmaceutical manufacturing projects.Develop, review, modify, and troubleshoot DeltaV control strategies and automation systems.Apply S88 batch control principles to manufacturing processes.Support system integration, testing, commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting activities.Collaborate closely with Process Engineering, CQV, Operations, and Project Engineering teams.Provide technical leadership and hands-on support throughout project execution.Ensure automation solutions align with pharmaceutical manufacturing and project requirements.
Required QualificationsExpert-level experience with Emerson DeltaV.Strong knowledge of ISA-88 (S88) batch automation principles.Proven automation experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical leadership skills.Experience supporting automation projects from development through commissioning/startup.Ability and willingness to work onsite in Puerto Rico.
