Board-Certified Music Therapist

Personal Counseling Services is seeking a Part-Time (with potential to become Full-Time), board-certified music therapist to serve individual clients in Clarksville, Indiana, and the surrounding area.

Serving primarily clients on the Indiana Medicaid Waiver. Flexible start date.

General Description:
The music therapist provides individual and group therapy, participates as a clinical staff team member, participates in staffing and case conferences, performs necessary administrative tasks, and helps market the Center’s services. The Music Therapist maintains an attitude/manager consistent with the Center’s mission statement.

Major Responsibilities:
• Individual and group music therapy sessions
• Clinical and administrative staff participation
• Promotion and support of the Center

Experience and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in music therapy from an accredited college or university
• Current Board Certification
• Clinical training and experience appropriate to the requirements of the position
• Must be CPR/First-Aid certified
