Gladstone Area Schools Employment Opportunity Gladstone Area Schools has Teamster Support Staff positions open: Building Aide – 5.5 hours (elementary) Benefits: Based on Teamster Agreement General Description: Serves as support to students and staff as assigned to ensure needs are met. Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: - Associates Degree or 60 college credits or ETS Parapro Test Other Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Serves as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as citizens and as responsible, intelligent human beings 2. Help to instill in students the belief in and practice of ethical principles and democratic values 3. Conducts other duties related to the duties assigned by supervisor 4. Proper grooming and attire have a positive impact on the school’s image. Positions involve direct service on a daily basis, and the employee should maintain work attire and appearance that reflects an efficient, orderly and professionally operated organization. Additional Working Conditions: 1. Occasional exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and tissue 2. Occasional exposure among unusually children 3. Occasional assistance for student health and medical needs 4. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non-prescribed controlled substance abuse in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the district.
