Position OverviewWe are seeking motivated healthcare professionals to join our team as Cardiac Device Technicians providing on-demand professional services in the San Juan and Metro areas.This opportunity is ideal for nurses, cardiac technicians, OR technicians, Cath Lab technicians, and other clinically experienced healthcare professionals interested in developing specialized skills in cardiac device management.Previous cardiac device experience is not required. Training will be provided.Technicians will receive specialized training to perform cardiac device follow-up services and will work independently after successfully completing the required training and competency process.Scope of ServicesTechnicians will be trained and assigned to perform services including:In-person cardiac device follow-up interrogationsPacemaker, ICD, and CRT follow-up evaluationsDevice off/on procedures associated with medical and surgical proceduresPre-MRI and post-MRI cardiac device checksRemote cardiac device interrogations and monitoring activitiesImplantable loop recorder interrogations and follow-upImplantable loop recorder implantation proceduresReview and documentation of device informationPreparation and completion of required reportsCommunication and coordination with physicians, nurses, imaging personnel, and other healthcare professionalsEscalation of relevant device findings according to established clinical protocolsThis position is focused primarily on cardiac device follow-up and monitoring services and does not include pacemaker, ICD, or CRT implantation procedures.Professional Services ModelThis is an on-demand professional services opportunity designed to provide flexibility while offering technicians the ability to develop specialized experience in cardiac device management.Assignments are scheduled according to:Customer and hospital needsDevice clinic schedulesMRI proceduresRemote monitoring requirementsService demandTechnician availabilityAssignments may vary from week to week.CompensationTechnicians are compensated based on the professional service activities and assignments completed.Average technician earnings are approximately $4,000 per month, based on typical assignment volume and availability.Actual earnings may be higher or lower depending on the number and type of assignments completed, service demand, territory coverage, and technician availability.Weekly PaymentsProfessional service compensation is paid weekly based on completed and approved activities.This provides technicians with regular weekly compensation rather than waiting for a traditional monthly payment cycle.Travel & Expense ReimbursementWhen a personal vehicle is used for approved assignments:Business mileage is reimbursed according to the applicable mileage reimbursement policy.Approved toll expenses are reimbursed.Approved parking expenses are reimbursed.These reimbursements are separate from professional service earnings.Preferred Candidate BackgroundPrior cardiac device experience is not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds such as:Registered Nurses (RN)Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)Cardiac or Cardiovascular TechniciansOperating Room (OR) TechniciansCardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) TechniciansOther healthcare professionals with cardiovascular, procedural, hospital, or patient-care experiencePreferred QualificationsCandidates should demonstrate:Experience working in a hospital, clinical, procedural, or patient-care environmentInterest in cardiovascular medicine and medical technologyStrong attention to detailAbility to follow clinical and technical protocolsProfessional communication skillsStrong organizational and documentation skillsComfort working with computers, clinical software, and medical technologyAbility to work independently following completion of trainingAbility to communicate professionally with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionalsReliable transportation and a valid driver's licenseAbility to travel within the assigned San Juan or Metro service territoryAvailability for scheduled and on-demand assignmentsSpanish and English communication skills preferredTraining ProvidedSelected candidates will receive specialized training covering:Cardiac rhythm management fundamentalsCardiac device identification and operationPacemaker, ICD, and CRT follow-up interrogationDevice programming fundamentalsDevice off/on proceduresMRI cardiac device protocolsRemote device interrogation and monitoring workflowsImplantable loop recorder interrogation and follow-upImplantable loop recorder implantation proceduresClinical documentation and reportingIdentification and escalation of relevant device
