Chicago Part Time Bridal Stylist

About the role

Jenny Yoo Collection is seeking a passionate, highly motivated bridal stylist for its Chicago showroom. The ideal candidate is outgoing, upbeat, professional, and enjoys a customer service-intensive environment. Stylists are trained to handle all aspects of the store.

This is a part-time position. Hours can vary depending on business needs. Fridays and Saturdays are a must, and holidays are preferred. Pay consists of an hourly wage and commission; pay ranges are commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and help them feel at home.
• Answer client inquiries and questions by phone and email.
• Guide brides and bridesmaids through dress selection during one-on-one appointments.
• Style brides from head to toe and close sales.
• Provide honest feedback and recommendations on dresses.
• Build rapport with customers.
• Develop knowledge of bridal fashion styles, trends, designers, fit, and alterations.
• Maintain the store's visual appearance and cleanliness to company standards.
• Display merchandise according to presentation guidelines and return merchandise from dressing rooms to racks or mannequins.
• Process, confirm, and invoice sales orders.
• Track and communicate order status with brides.
• Open and close the store.
• Participate in in-store and off-site bridal events.
• Address customer service complaints and offer solutions according to company guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 1-2 years of fashion retail experience; bridal sales experience is preferred but not required.
• An outgoing personality and a professional image in appearance and behavior.
• Consistently exhibit a high energy level.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
