About the role
Jessa Myer is looking for a design assistant with a genuine interest in interior design and a love of decorating, styling and beautiful spaces. The role is approximately 25 hours per week, with typical shoppe shifts from 10 AM–6 PM.
Responsibilities
- Manage the shoppe floor 2–3 days per week.
- Assist customers and process sales.
- Receive and organize inventory.
- Merchandise and style the shoppe.
- Assist with home styling and photoshoots.
- Pick up samples and run local errands.
- Print and organize design presentations.
- Support the Jessa Myer Interiors team as needed.
Requirements
- Have a strong eye for detail.
- Be warm, dependable and comfortable helping customers.
- Be a self-starter, a quick learner and organized, and be willing to jump into a variety of tasks.
- Have familiarity with the interior design industry.
- Be interested in growing into a larger design-assistant role as the business grows.
- Formal interior design education is not required.
