Environment, Health and Safety Manager

About the role

Movement Search & Delivery is working with a global supplier of advanced technology products to identify and evaluate an EHS Manager. This is a direct hire position located around Lenoir City, TN, and offers an opportunity for continued advancement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain safety and environmental programs, policies, and procedures to support compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations, including OSHA and EPA standards.
• Develop and implement a program to reduce occupational injuries and illnesses, including area assessments, injury investigations, and clear, measurable goals.
• Correct working conditions and develop loss control programs and methods to evaluate safety progress, using knowledge of industrial processes, mechanics, chemistry, psychology, and safety standards.
• Assess, share, and leverage HSE best practices across sites.
• Establish, implement, and maintain Environmental and Safety Management systems in accordance with ISO 14001/ISO 18001; report performance to top management and recommend improvements.
• Serve as the interface with local, state, and federal regulatory agencies, corporate, and insurance carrier representatives to ensure plant compliance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of experience as an EHS Manager and/or Sr. EHS Specialist in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with compliance reporting.
• Strong safety mindset.
