About the role
ORBCOMM is seeking a results-driven Key Account Manager to grow its SKYWAVE satellite IoT terminal business across Latin America. The role focuses on selling SKYWAVE ST 9100, ST 6100, and ST 2100 terminals and connectivity services in industrial IoT markets, winning new accounts and expanding existing customer and partner relationships.
The annual new-growth target is approximately USD $2 million. The role works with solution providers, value-added resellers, system integrators, distributors, and end customers, with support from ORBCOMM’s product, technical support, and operations teams.
Responsibilities
- Deliver approximately USD $2 million in new growth annually across LATAM, achieving or exceeding revenue, bookings, and gross margin objectives.
- Sell SKYWAVE ST 9100, ST 6100, and ST 2100 satellite IoT terminals and related connectivity services to new and existing accounts.
- Maintain forecast accuracy through disciplined territory and account planning.
- Win new key accounts in industrial IoT markets, including agriculture and irrigation, water and wastewater, oil and gas, commercial fishing, ocean buoys, and environmental monitoring.
- Expand existing customer and partner relationships.
