Role Description This full-time, on-site Licensed Psychologist role is based in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The Licensed Psychologist will conduct psychological assessments, provide individual and group counseling, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Daily responsibilities include documenting clinical encounters, collaborating with medical and mental health professionals, monitoring progress, and adjusting interventions as needed. The role also involves educating patients and families about mental health conditions, participating in case conferences, and contributing to integrated care approaches. The psychologist is expected to maintain ethical standards, uphold confidentiality, and stay current with best practices in psychological care.
Qualifications

Strong foundation in Psychology, including theory, evidence-based interventions, and clinical practice.Experience with Mental Health care, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis intervention.Proficiency in Counseling techniques for diverse populations and presenting concerns.Ability to perform comprehensive Psychological Assessment, including testing, interpretation, and reporting.Understanding of Medicine in an integrated care setting, collaborating effectively with medical providers.Current licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a Psychologist in Puerto Rico.Master’s or doctoral degree (PhD/PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology from an accredited program.Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to document clearly and timely in medical records.Demonstrated cultural competence and ability to work respectfully with diverse communities.Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and manage a consistent patient caseload.Experience in a medical or integrated behavioral health setting is preferred.Proficiency in Spanish and English is highly beneficial.
