Maintenance Technician

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to work orders and guest requests in a timely manner
- Inspect and maintain guest rooms and public areas
- Fix plumbing issues: leaks, clogged drains, toilets, faucets, showers, and water heaters
- Perform electrical repairs: lights, outlets, switches, and other fixtures
- Repair or replace door locks, hinges, doors, and furniture
- Paint walls, patch drywall, and touch up finishes
- Maintain HVAC equipment and repair issues
- Ensure all equipment is in safe working condition and up to code
- Keep maintenance areas and tools clean, organized, and stocked
- Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous maintenance or general repair experience preferred (hotel experience a plus)
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (work order system a plus)
- Flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed
