PROPERTY MAINTENANCE & RANCH OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN

Location: Lake Nona, FL

Compensation

Hourly Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour (depending on experience) $500 monthly vehicle allowance. Annual performance bonus.

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly skilled, hands-on Property Maintenance & Ranch Operations Technician to support the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and upkeep of multiple commercial properties and ranch facilities throughout the Lake Nona area.

This field-based position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in maintaining properties to the highest standards, and can independently identify and resolve maintenance issues before they become larger problems. Every day brings new challenges—from repairing commercial buildings and maintaining barns to troubleshooting irrigation systems, repairing fencing, and enhancing the overall appearance of the properties.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across multiple commercial properties and ranch facilities. Complete electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, irrigation, and general building repairs. Maintain barns, workshops, outbuildings, and other ranch structures. Repair and maintain fencing, gates, docks, and other exterior property features. Troubleshoot irrigation systems, valves, PVC piping, and water distribution systems. Perform painting, drywall repairs, flooring repairs, caulking, and general building improvements. Maintain landscaping, trees, shrubs, grounds, and the overall appearance of each property. Operate and maintain tractors, mowers, utility vehicles, and other maintenance equipment as needed. Conduct routine property inspections to identify maintenance, safety, or appearance concerns and proactively address them. Coordinate with outside vendors for specialized repairs and services when necessary. Maintain organized maintenance shops, tools, equipment, and supplies. Travel between local properties throughout the Lake Nona area as needed.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess strong, hands-on experience in the following areas:

Commercial property maintenance. Electrical repairs and troubleshooting. Plumbing repairs. Irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance. Carpentry and general construction repairs. HVAC maintenance and basic troubleshooting. Landscaping and grounds maintenance. Barn, ranch, agricultural, or large-property maintenance.

Preferred Experience

Tractor and heavy equipment operation. Small engine or mechanical repair. Welding and metal fabrication. Fence and gate installation and repair. Experience maintaining multiple commercial or large residential properties.

Qualifications

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize maintenance needs and proactively identify potential issues. Comfortable performing physically demanding work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation required.
