Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

Confluent Medical Technologies is a financially healthy and rapidly growing medical device company that works collaboratively with customers to take projects from rapid prototype into high volume production. Its capabilities include Nitinol components and tubing, balloon expandable stents and catheters, complex catheters, biomedical textiles, and high precision polymer tubing.

The Quality Assurance Engineer I will support internal audits and external inspections, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and collect, analyze, and present Quality System performance data to senior management. The role also supports similar activities at other company sites.

Responsibilities

• Participate in internal audits and support customer inspections through planning, evidence collection, documentation, and audit reports.
• Assist with data collection, evidence verification, analysis, documentation, and follow-up for audits and inspections.
• Support tracking, review, and closure of corrections and corrective actions under appropriate guidance.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to prepare required data and documentation, and participate in front-room and back-room activities as needed.
• Collect, analyze, and present Quality System performance data to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-site teams, complete assignments within established timelines, and escalate significant compliance concerns as appropriate.
