About the role

Akerman LLP is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with strong title, survey, and closings experience supporting homebuilders and developers. This role involves managing high-volume transactions and taking ownership of deals from contract through closing.
Responsibilities
- Manage commercial land acquisition and disposition transactions.
- Review title commitments, exceptions, surveys, and legal descriptions.
- Prepare closing documents, binders, and trackers.
- Coordinate closings, funding, and document execution.
- Track deadlines and manage multiple active deals.
Requirements
- 5+ years of real estate paralegal experience in a law firm.
- Hands-on closings experience for developers or homebuilders strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of title and survey review and contract administration.
- Experience managing multiple transactions independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and iManage or similar systems.
