Receptionist in Greenwood, SC

Sip and Sprout is hiring a full-time Receptionist in Greenwood, South Carolina. Be the welcoming face of our café, helping guests enjoy a smooth and pleasant experience from arrival to seating. This on-site hospitality role combines guest service, reservations, communication, and light administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Greet café guests warmly and manage reservations, walk-ins, seating, and waitlists.
• Answer calls and messages and respond to questions about the menu, hours, events, and promotions.
• Keep the entrance and front desk tidy, welcoming, and stocked.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to support seating and smooth table turnover.
• Assist with orders, POS transactions, guest records, reservation logs, and feedback forms as needed.
• Handle feedback, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and empathy.
• Support café events and promotions while upholding front-of-house policies and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• At least HSC; a hospitality, business, or related diploma or degree is a plus.
• Previous café, restaurant, hotel front desk, or customer service experience is preferred.
• Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about hospitality.
• Strong Bengali communication skills and basic English communication skills.
• Organized, professional, and comfortable managing guest inquiries in a busy café.

Pay and schedule

Pay: $24 per hour. This is a full-time, on-site position in Greenwood, SC.
