Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role is based in Aguas Buenas and involves providing direct, patient-centered nursing care in a hospital setting. Responsibilities include assessing patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring vital signs, and documenting care accurately in medical records. The Registered Nurse collaborates closely with physicians and other health professionals, supports care plans, educates patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions, and upholds infection control and safety protocols. The role also includes participating in shift handoffs, responding to emergencies, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Puerto Rico and eligibility to practice in a hospital setting.Demonstrated clinical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and basic life support; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.Strong documentation, organizational, and time management skills to handle multiple patients and changing priorities.Effective communication and collaboration abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and families.Commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, infection control, and adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards.Ability to work onsite in Aguas Buenas, including rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.Minimum of an associate or bachelor’s degree in Nursing; prior hospital or acute care experience is an advantage.Comfort working with electronic health records and basic computer applications; willingness to learn new systems and protocols.
