Senior Backend Engineer NestJS PostgreSQL

FleetSimplify is a startup building a fleet management SaaS and are hiring a **Senior Backend Engineer**. This is a backend-only role. You’ll own services, data models, queues and APIs — no frontend/UI work.

GraphQL is used on some projects.

Requirements / What We’re Looking For
5+ years of professional backend engineering experience. We count backend years, not total software-development years.
• Strong Node.js / TypeScript experience, ideally NestJS
• PostgreSQL + TypeORM: schema design, indexing, transactions and query optimization
• Redis and background queues/workers; BullMQ preferred
• Authentication and authorization using JWT / Passport
• Docker
• Strong API design and backend architecture
• Proven production ownership and debugging skills
