Senior DevOps ServiceNow Developer

About the role

MANTECH seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Senior DevOps ServiceNow Developer to help design, develop, and implement critical ServiceNow solutions that support the customer’s mission-critical business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop ServiceNow solutions and enhancements using core platform capabilities to support business requirements.
• Develop applications, including configuration, report development, and data migration where applicable.
• Identify and implement best-practice solutions to address client requirements.
• Perform custom development and third-party integrations across the environment.
• Perform unit testing, resolve code defects, and migrate code changes to the production environment.
• Assist with technical design and documentation to ensure platform stability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and team members to build solutions in ServiceNow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of additional IT experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of software development experience and experience working on a large and complex software development project.
• Experience developing Service Catalog and ServiceNow workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Ruby, Python, Perl, Bash, or JavaScript.
• DoD approved 8570 IAT Level II Certification, such as Security+ CE, or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire.
• An active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Preferred: Certified ServiceNow Administrator (CSA) credential, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer credential, and experience working in a DevOps or Agile software development environment.
