Senior Healthcare Technology Consultant

Job Description: SmartLogix is seeking a Senior Healthcare Technology Consultant with experience in healthcare technology. This role will be responsible for analyzing healthcare operations, processes, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement through technology, automation, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives.
The consultant will serve as a bridge between clinical, operational, administrative, and technology teams, helping translate business needs into practical and scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:Partner with executive leadership, clinical, operational, and IT teams to understand business processes, challenges, and objectives.Analyze workflows, operations, and systems to identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and digital transformation.Gather and document business, functional, and technical requirements while serving as a liaison between business and technology stakeholders.Evaluate technology solutions, existing systems, integrations, data platforms, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives.Develop recommendations, technology roadmaps, and implementation plans aligned with organizational goals.Lead or support technology initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation and adoption.Coordinate communication among stakeholders, technical teams, vendors, and executive leadership.Ensure proposed solutions address security, privacy, compliance, and interoperability requirements.
Requirements:8+ years of healthcare technology experience.Experience working directly within hospitals, health systems, public health organizations, or healthcare technology companies.Certifications such as PMP, PMI-PBA, CBAP, CSM, Lean Six Sigma, or related credentials.Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Experience & Knowledge:8+ years of experience in technology within the healthcare industry.Experience working with hospitals, clinics, ambulatory centers, or other healthcare organizations.Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical, administrative, and operational workflows.Experience in Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, requirements gathering, and process improvement.Experience leading or supporting digital transformation, system implementation, or technology modernization initiatives.Experience working with enterprise applications, systems integrations, data platforms, analytics, and technology projects.Ability to collaborate effectively with executive, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technology solutions.Ability to work in a hybrid environment and attend on-site meetings in the San Juan area as needed.
