About the role
GUT Bogotá, the award-winning global creative network powered by Globant, is looking for a Senior Next.js Software Engineer. You will build innovative digital products for the US market, developing scalable, accessible, and responsive experiences with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Build modern, high-performance web applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Develop scalable, accessible, and responsive experiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and collaborative Agile environments.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong experience building production web applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of React fundamentals, including Hooks, component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Next.js, including the App Router and server-side rendering (SSR).
- Strong understanding of modern frontend architecture and best practices.
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with authentication and authorization flows.
- Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, SEO, and frontend performance optimization.
- Experience writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code, and with frontend testing and software quality practices.
- Knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is desirable.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Advanced English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with US-based clients and cross-functional teams.
