Teacher

Create a warm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment. Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times. Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Implement age-appropriate activities and lesson plans. Assist with classroom routines, meals, diapering/toileting, and transitions. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom. Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff. Follow all Illinois DCFS licensing standards and center policies. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, experience working with young children preferred, CDA/ECE coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education a plus. Must be dependable, patient, energetic, and a team player. Ability to pass background checks and meet Illinois DCFS employment requirements.
