Key Responsibilities for Drivers
- Operate 10 & 14 ton vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs.
- Supervise loading and unloading processes adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and reports in line with company and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with vehicle cleaning and upkeep to ensure good working condition and presentation.
- Collaborate with team members and management to resolve operational challenges promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Grade 10-12 / NQF NCV L2-L3 / N3.
- Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) is mandatory.
- Proven experience driving 10 & 14 ton trucks.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and cleaning.
- Clear criminal record and valid tax number.
- South African citizenship.
- Sober habits and ability to work after hours if required.
- 3-5 years relevant experience preferred.
