Electrical Engineering Lead - Schenectady, NY Company: Siri Info Solutions Inc Duration: 12+ Months Contract Experience Required: 10-15+ years in Electrical Engineering Education: BE/B.Tech/ME/M.Tech in Electrical Engineering Roles & Responsibilities Provide expert technical support during application, design, and installation phases throughout contract negotiation and implementation. Coordinate engineering support with sourcing, services, gas/steam/gen requisition engineering, global engineering teams, and equipment suppliers. Lead development and application of electrical Material Shipped Direct (MSD) equipment for new Gas or Steam turbine generator units. Collaborate with requisition management to streamline requisition cycles and improve processes from order definition to commercial operation. Ensure on-time performance targets for internal engineering and customer deliverables are consistently met. Lead generator and electrical equipment discussions in domestic and global customer meetings, driving requisition goals and objectives. Champion cost-saving initiatives and provide strong technical support for projects. Develop strategies to manage risks and resolve hardware factory or installation issues effectively. Interpret and implement contract requirements and design practices accurately. Stay updated on global codes, standards, tools, and processes relevant to electrical engineering. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and foster teamwork across departments. Managerial Skills Effective teamwork and collaboration, including leading cross-organizational teams.
