Role: Medical Technician - Ophthalmology Assistant

Ramesh RB is seeking a skilled Medical Technician with Ophthalmology expertise to join our team supporting tele-ophthalmology services and patient care within senior care community living settings in Dallas, TX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists with patient data entry, clinical examinations, diagnostic testing, and ophthalmic procedures.
• Perform ophthalmic tests and accurately document patient results for clinical review.
• Conduct on-site visits to community living locations such as assisted living and senior care facilities to deliver quality eye care services.
• Prepare patients, ophthalmic equipment, and clinical documentation ahead of examinations.
• Utilize specialized software systems for patient data management and tele-ophthalmology support.
• Ensure compassionate, high-quality patient care during community visits.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Medical Technician, Ophthalmology Assistant, Ophthalmic Technician, or similar clinical role.
• Preferred ophthalmology or eye-care experience with proficiency in using portable diagnostic devices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage effectively with patients.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various senior care and community living locations within Dallas.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with ophthalmologists and clinical staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting online ophthalmology consultations is a plus.

Compensation: $30 per hour
