Compensation: From $24.00 per hour

Position Overview

The Sales & Marketing Administrator plays a vital role in supporting the sales team by improving customer follow-up, maintaining CRM accuracy, coordinating trade show activities, assisting with sales orders, and supporting marketing initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with the Sales Manager, leadership, accounting, warehouse, and customers to ensure organized sales activities, timely lead follow-up, accurate order processing, and clear internal communication.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with up to 30% travel annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Support: Assist the Sales Manager and sales team with daily tasks including researching new potential customers through trade shows, industry publications, LinkedIn, social media, and online directories.
  • Support outbound prospecting via email, phone, and social media outreach.
  • Maintain engagement with prospects and customers through proper follow-up.
  • Prepare, send, and track estimates, quotes, sample requests, and sales opportunities.
  • Follow up on open quotes, sample shipments, customer inquiries, and pending opportunities.
  • Accurately enter sales orders into the sales system and maintain up-to-date customer records, lead status, notes, and activity updates in the CRM.
  • Monitor customer activity and promptly alert the Sales Manager of important updates, delays, or new opportunities.
  • Support customer onboarding by ensuring all required forms, documents, and account information are completed.
  • Trade Shows & Lead Management: Assist in planning and coordinating trade shows, expos, customer visits, and sales events.
  • Manage booth registration, badges, travel coordination, shipping of materials, lead sheets, and show preparation.
  • Organize trade show leads post-event and enter them into the CRM.
