Accountant

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic financial team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. As an Accountant, you will be integral in managing financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial reports, ensuring that all activities align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Prepare and examine financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate ledger accounts. Support budgeting processes, including cost tracking and variance analysis. Coordinate and assist with audits to ensure compliance and accuracy of financial data. Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data analysis to management. Collaborate effectively with team members and cross-functional departments to gather necessary financial information. Required and preferred qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices. Proficient in financial reporting and analysis. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) are a plus.
