Title: Computer Programmer Location: Irving, Texas Duration: Long Term Job Overview: Review and understand the Application Team's work plan to ensure alignment with project goals. Provide regular status updates and deliverable estimates to the Team Lead. Participate actively in requirements gathering sessions to clarify project needs. Design and develop applications based on detailed specifications and defined interfaces, ensuring compliance with functional and technical requirements. Effectively present complex technical concepts to business partners and stakeholders. Anticipate, identify, track, and resolve project issues and risks promptly. Resolve issues related to inaccuracy or feasibility within applications. Maintain and enhance legacy technology applications to ensure continued performance. Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, managing time efficiently under tight deadlines. Required Experience and Skills: Strong proficiency in Java and JavaScript programming languages. Ability to collaborate, negotiate, and take direction from cross-functional business and technical teams. Excellent organizational, analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Hands-on experience with technical design in large enterprise systems. Proven ability to recommend best practices based on industry standards. Experience mentoring and guiding technical teams. Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
