Job description
POOJA is hiring a full-time Accountant for a remote-eligible position based in India. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and helping safeguard the organization’s financial integrity. Compensation is INR Rs 400000 per year.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Reconcile bank statements and verify the accuracy of financial reports.
- Assist with audit preparation and help maintain compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare financial analysis and reports for management.
- Use accounting software such as Tally and QuickBooks.
- Collaborate with finance and other departments to improve financial processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Proficiency with accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
Reporting and Work Arrangement
The Accountant reports to the Finance Manager and works with the finance team and other departments to support accurate, efficient financial operations. This position is remote-eligible and based in India.
