We are partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee its accounting operations and support the organization’s financial goals. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys making an impact while working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment.
Salary Range: $100,000–$120,000

Overview Of The Accounting Manager Role
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate, timely financial reportingLead month-end and year-end close processesPrepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reportsMaintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and organizational policiesCoordinate audit preparation and work closely with external auditorsPartner with leadership and department managers on budgeting and financial planningMonitor financial activity and provide insights into trends, variances, and opportunitiesSupervise, mentor, and develop accounting team membersEnsure accurate accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and reconciliationsSupport process improvements and help strengthen the organization’s accounting and financial procedures
Preferred Qualifications For The Accounting Manager
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldPrevious Accounting Manager, Assistant Controller, or senior-level accounting experienceNonprofit accounting experience strongly preferredStrong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, and audit processesExcellent leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skillsHands-on approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment
