Assistant Technical Production Artist

Our client, an entertainment merchandising company, is seeking a full-time Assistant Technical Production Artist to join their team.The ideal candidate will ensure accurate production of apparel and souvenirs and supports ecommerce efforts by providing high-quality visual assets. This role is 4 days onsite 2 days in their New Jersey office (Secaucus) a quick bus ride from Port Authority and 2 days in their NYC office and 1 day remote.Responsibilities:
- Review and adjust design files for production
- Request, organize, and prep artwork using templates
- Approve vendor proofs and coordinate revisions
- Upload files and links in the inventory system
- Maintain and update neck label assets
- Perform product quality checks
- Photograph products for webstore use
- Share print approvals with Account Managers
- Create and distribute tech packs for printers
- Maintain photo studio and equipmentMust haves:
- Proficiency in Adobe C-Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop
- Strong grasp of design principles, layout, and typography
- Skilled in creating factory-ready art packs with high attention to detail
- Minimum 2 years of experience in graphic production or creative roles within fashion/apparel
- Solid understanding of screen-printing processes and how to prepare designs for printIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
