Azure Oracle Database Engineer

Tasks

• Provision and maintain Oracle Database 19c or 23ai.
• Implement least-privilege access and database security controls.
• Manage Oracle Database Vault and privileged access.
• Configure Active Data Guard and Oracle GoldenGate.
• Perform database backup, restore, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Configure Azure monitoring, logging, alerts, and audit controls.
• Maintain secure backup practices and operational documentation.

Requirements

• Azure infrastructure and Oracle database administration
• Oracle Database 19c or 23ai
• Database identity and access governance
• Backup, recovery, and resiliency management
• Azure monitoring, logging, and configuration baselines
• Security controls, audit readiness, and documentation
• Preferred: Active Data Guard, GoldenGate, RMAN, Oracle Database Vault, Guardium, and managed identities.
• No H1B or OPT for this role.
• Relocation candidates are accepted, with preference for local candidates.

Schedule

• 12-month contract with possible extensions
• Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote
• 2 rounds
