Career Development Specialist – Niamey, Niger

Greece Caregiver is seeking a dedicated Career Development Specialist for a full-time, on-site role in Niamey, Niger. Help individuals identify career goals, build job-search skills, and connect with employment opportunities in a supportive environment focused on personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clients’ skills, interests, and career aspirations.
• Create personalized career development plans based on individual needs.
• Provide one-on-one career counseling, career exploration guidance, and job-search support.
• Lead workshops on resume writing, interview techniques, and job-search skills.
• Build relationships with local businesses to develop internship and job placement opportunities.
• Track client progress and outcomes and report on program effectiveness.
• Monitor labor market trends and share relevant career opportunities with clients.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Career counseling or coaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of employment best practices and job market trends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and career development tools or software.
• At least two years of relevant experience in a similar role preferred.
