Commercial Construction Superintendent

Emergent Construction is looking for an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to lead an exciting and highly unique project in Garden Grove, California.

We will soon begin construction of a 3D concrete printed public restroom building for the City of Garden Grove. This is a public works project utilizing innovative 3D concrete printing technology combined with conventional commercial construction.

We’re looking for a superintendent who can take ownership of the day-to-day field operations and help us successfully deliver this one-of-a-kind project.

What we’re looking for:
• Strong commercial construction superintendent experience
• Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
• Strong scheduling, quality-control, and problem-solving skills
• Solid knowledge of construction safety and jobsite management
• Public Works and/or prevailing-wage experience preferred
• Experience working with union trades is a plus
• Strong communication and leadership skills

The superintendent will be responsible for onsite management of the Garden Grove project, including coordination of subcontractors, schedule, safety, quality, inspections, and communication with the project team.
