Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care before, during, and after cardiovascular surgeries.
• Monitor patient vital signs and responses during surgery and post-anesthesia recovery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and healthcare team members to implement and assess care plans.
• Administer medications and manage intravenous therapies following established protocols.
• Conduct pre-operative assessments and post-operative follow-ups to ensure patient recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, reporting any condition changes promptly.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and recovery processes.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in surgical and cardiovascular nursing.
• Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Compensation: $3160 per week
