Job description
We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Professional to protect TekBricks’ systems, networks, and data from cyber threats in Waxhaw, North Carolina. The ideal Cybersecurity Engineer will monitor security systems, identify vulnerabilities, and implement robust security measures to ensure compliance and reduce risk.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches and suspicious activity
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
- Implement and manage security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus solutions
- Investigate security incidents and perform root cause analysis
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards
- Ensure compliance with security frameworks and regulations including ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and HIPAA
- Perform risk assessments and recommend mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure secure system design
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and technologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security (freshers with strong skills are encouraged to apply)
- Strong knowledge of network security, encryption, authentication, and access control
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Sentinel
- Understanding of cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP
