Key Responsibilities Monitor networks and systems continuously for security breaches and suspicious activities to ensure rapid detection and response. Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and remediate security weaknesses. Implement and manage advanced security tools including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM platforms (such as Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel), and antivirus solutions. Investigate security incidents thoroughly and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurrence. Develop and enforce robust security policies, procedures, and standards aligned with industry best practices. Ensure compliance with recognized security frameworks and regulations such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, and HIPAA. Perform risk assessments and recommend effective mitigation strategies to reduce organizational exposure. Collaborate closely with IT and development teams to integrate security into system design and deployment. Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to maintain a proactive defense posture. What We're Looking For Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security; strong fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Solid knowledge of network security principles, encryption methods, authentication protocols, and access control mechanisms. Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar, or Microsoft Sentinel. Understanding of cloud security concepts and platforms including AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform. Familiarity with Linux and Windows security environments. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred: Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+. Experience with automation and scripting for security operations. Knowledge of compliance audits and regulatory requirements.
