Care Infotech is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. This full-time role involves providing expert technical support to internal users, ensuring smooth IT operations, and enhancing overall user satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide prompt technical support for hardware and software issues by troubleshooting and resolving tickets efficiently.
• Configure and install software applications tailored to user requirements.
• Assist with networking tasks, including setup and maintenance of network connections.
• Install and replace hardware components, ensuring compliance with company standards and optimal performance.
• Communicate effectively with team members and end-users to deliver excellent customer service and resolve queries.
• Document technical processes and create user manuals to support knowledge sharing and self-service.
• Participate in IT projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deploy new technologies and services.

Required and Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support or similar technical roles.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in software configuration and hardware installation.
• Good understanding of networking principles and IT support best practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are preferred.
