Diesel MechanicsMobile Service Techs

- This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role in Carlisle, Grantville, or Ebensburg, PA.
- The Diesel Mechanic will perform vehicle maintenance and repairs, diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, and conduct preventive maintenance.
- Additional responsibilities include maintaining heavy equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and documenting all maintenance and repairs performed.

- The mechanic will need to have their own tools and reliable transportation.
- Mechanics will also be asked to run a service truck (2015 or newer, when needed) and help with other tasks as needed.
- The mechanic will be asked to work at least one weekend a month on call, but you can choose your weekend.

Key Responsibilities:
-Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines
-Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
-Repair or replace faulty parts
-Maintain service records
-Follow Safety procedures
-Communicate with supervisors, dispatch, and customers
-Have your own tools
-Work one weekend a month of your choice on call as a mobile mechanic.
-Perform mobile repair services (All service trucks are 2021 and newer)

Required Qualifications:
-Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and working with heavy equipment
-Experience in vehicle maintenance and equipment maintenance
-Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures
-Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues independently
-Good communication skills and attention to detail
-Technical certifications are a plus
-Previous experience in the towing and recovery industry is an advantage

This mechanic will be based in Carlisle, Grantville, or Ebensburg, PA.
