Role Description The Electrical Engineering Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role located in Sanford, Maine.
In the Electrical Engineering Supervisor position, you will be responsible for the management and technical direction of the Electrical team consisting of Engineers and Technicians. This role provides technical direction in the development, implementation, revision, and enhancement of products in accordance with applicable codes and standards. This role is the primary leadership position for both day-to-day and long-term management of the Electrical team including workload management, performance management, and personnel development.
QualificationsBachelor's degree in relevant Engineering disciplineMinimum of five (5) years of experience as an Electrical Engineer preferredFive (5) years’ experience as a technical supervisor / manager required.Strong leadershipElectrical Engineering experience with: Motors, Machine control systems, & Hardware & Software development.Prior experience with intellectual property including reading and writing patents, understanding of trademarks, etc. a plus.Ability to effectively communicate with customers as well as at all levels of the company.Working experience with Project Management methodologies. PMP certification a plus.Proficiency in MS project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
