Executive Chef – Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines

Jackielyn Solomon is hiring a full-time Executive Chef in Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines. This on-site leadership role offers a monthly salary of 50000. The Executive Chef will lead kitchen operations, develop menus, uphold food safety standards, and manage food and labor costs to support an excellent dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards.
• Create and update menus that reflect culinary trends and the establishment’s goals.
• Lead, mentor, and manage kitchen staff, fostering teamwork and strong performance.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
• Monitor food and labor costs, manage budgets, and support profitability.
• Work with suppliers to source quality ingredients and maintain effective inventory control.
• Keep current with culinary techniques and industry trends.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong cooking skills and knowledge of a range of culinary techniques.
• Leadership experience and the ability to manage and develop a team.
• Expertise in menu planning and development.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Experience with cost control and budgeting.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.
