Job description
The Ripon Consolidated Fire District is accepting applications for Firefighter/Paramedic.
We’re looking for motivated Paramedics who are ready to serve our community as part of a fire company and ALS ambulance crew. Firefighter/Paramedics respond to fire, rescue, hazardous materials, medical, and other emergencies while providing advanced life support and participating in training, fire prevention, and station operations.
Candidates who do not currently possess a California State Fire Training Firefighter I certification may be sent to an accredited Firefighter I Academy as part of probation.
Annual Compensation: $86,773 - $98,163 (Includes Paramedic incentive, Ambulance differential, and uniform allowance, etc.)
56-Hour Workweek (48/96 Schedule)
100% Medical Benefits (Employee and Dependents)
15% District Contribution 401(a)
Paramedic tuition reimbursement up to $10,000 toward qualifying outstanding student loan obligations
