Insurance Defense Attorney

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney with 3–5 years of litigation experience to join a well-established regional law firm in Philadelphia.

Tasks

• Manage insurance defense matters from inception through resolution.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, arbitrations, mediations and trial preparation.
• Represent insurers, self-insured entities and corporate clients in liability matters.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs and reports.
• Maintain client relationships and provide proactive case management.
• Collaborate with colleagues across practice groups to achieve successful client outcomes.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Active Pennsylvania law license.
• 3–5 years of insurance defense litigation experience.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage cases independently and work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience handling automobile liability matters is strongly preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time.
• On-site.

Pay

• $120,000 – $145,000+ per annum (USD), depending on experience.
